Field Trip - Volunteers
We will be going on class field trips in the month of May and are looking for parent volunteers to chaperone.  The field trip to the DuPage Children's Museum will be on Monday, May 15th and the field trip to the zoo will be on Wednesday, May 31st.

Reading/Language Arts
We will continue with the stories about the three little pigs looking at the different points of view and the story from Mexico.  
Focus:  key ideas and details, craft and structure, and central message

Math
Our focus will be on fractions.  Children will solve problems involving wholes didvided into equal shares by using a diagram.  There will be a review and test on Chapter 11, Geometry and Fraction Concepts.

Science
We will look for ways to protect our environment.

Junior Achievement
The children will have an afternoon learning about:  people in a community working together, business and government jobs, voting and how money moves in a community.
