         We had a Great Week!

Mrs. Spiros from Junior Achievement came into our classroom and brought along excitement.  Children made donuts, played tic-tac-toe and voted, while learning about communities, jobs, producing, consuming, and the government.

.

Sergeant Hruby, his K-9, Niko, and Officer Lorek visited the 2nd grade students.  After reading Aero and Officer Mike, the children had the opportunity to see first hand how an officer and his dog work together as partners.

The children designed their very own silly sweater.

Holiday Party - Everyone had a spectacular time at our holiday party with snacks and activities that included a craft and games.  We would like to thank our party parents Mrs. Vagonis, Mr. Skweres, Mrs. Dimitrakakos and Mrs. Gajula, and a thank you to the parents that provided paper products, juice, and snacks.
