Konstantine
Reading Reward - The children voted for a reading reward for our classroom for the month of October. Children that turn in their Reading Logs and have read for at least 21 days during the month of October will have a Show & Tell day in November.
Seesaw- Mrs. Sulima came in to help us make a video of our corny jokes and riddles. Everyone did a great job.
Reading/Language Arts
Next week will be reading Tarra and Bella, The Elephant and Dog Who Became Best Friends. After retiring from the circus, Tarra became the first resident of the Elephant Sanctuary. Tarra remained alone until she met a stray mixed breed dog named Bella. Soon the two were inseparable.

Our focus will be compare & contrast and cause and effect.
We will continue to work on proper and common nouns and begin to work on action verbs.
Math
We will continue to work on different ways to show numbers using words, base ten blocks, place value and expanded form. Children will be adding multiples of ten to 2-digit numbers.
Social Studies
Children will be using map and globe skills to learn how our country is part of our world. There will be a review and test on Unit 1, Where We Live.
Homework
Reading - read for 20 minutes and complete Reading Log
Math - practice facts
Spelling - practice words
