Thank you to our chaperones: Mrs. Cepronas, Mrs. Conyer, Mrs. Major and Mr. Wawro.  Everyone had a great time at the zoo observing animals in the different habitats and learning about herbivores, carnivores and omnivores.

Reading/Language Arts
We will be reading  The Three Little  Pigs, the original story, by Paul Galdone and The Three Little Javelinas by Susan Lowell.  The three little javelinas are the southwestern cousins of the original three little pigs.  These pigs live in homes built of tumbleweeds, saguaro ribs and adobe bricks.

Math
We will continue with the Topic, Step Up to 3rd Grade.
