Everyone enjoyed Pajama Day !


Reminder-
Due to allergies, please do not send food containing any type of nuts as a snack to be eaten in the classroom.

We will continue to collect books for the Elizabeth Ide Book Drive through February 27th.  They will be used to minimize summer reading loss for children that have minimal access to books.

Special Thanks - to Mrs. Wawro, Mrs. Major, Mrs. Edie and Mrs. Chlopek for turning our shoe boxes into mailboxes for our Valentine cards.

Valentine Day Party
Children will be able to exchange Valentine cards on February 12th.  Please have them sign their cards and bring them to school.


Reading
We will be doing a close read on an article from the Chicago Tribune, adapted by Newsela staff titled, Little Free Libraries bring people together.  Children will be looking for text evidence to support their answers to questions.  Vocabulary: public, variety, stunning, and encourage
