Class Visitors
We have been busy observing our new additions to our classroom. Our painted lady caterpillars are eating and growing quickly. We are looking forward to the next stage in their life cycle.
OLSAT
Students will be taking the Otis-Lennon School Ability Test this week. Please make sure your child gets a good night sleep and eats a healthy breakfast.
Rainforest Projects
We will continue to work on our rainforest projects for Open House next week. The report that we have been working on will include a research paper, map of rainforests around the world, a name poem, a picture of the animal, and a bibliography.
Please save the date: Our Open House is Thursday, April 24th.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
We hope everyone will be able to visit our rainforest.
Math
We will continue with measurement. Students will measure lengths of objects in centimeters and meters. They will also find the perimeter and area of plane figures.
Social Studies
Students will learn how weather patterns, natural resources, and seasonal patterns and natural hazards affect activities and settlement patterns.

Reading - read for 20 minutes & complete reading log
Math - practice facts & complete 1-side of worksheet
Spelling- complete word sorts & practice words
