Great Job!
Everyone earned a free ticket to attend a Kane County Cougars game along with a voucher for a t-shirt and concession stand, for turning in their reading logs. Information went home last week with directions on the order form.

OLSAT
The Otis-Lennon School Ability Test will be given to the
students this week.
Reading/Writing Workshop
Please remind your child to bring in their information about their rainforest animal. We will be writing the expository this week. The expository will include information such as its characteristics, habitat, what it eats, how it gets its food, and how
it protects itself.
Math
Students will be identifying, modeling, and writing fractions for parts of a group. We will review for a test on Chapter 19, Fractions.
Science
Our painted lady caterpillars have arrived. Students will learn about its life cycle through observation and keep a journal about the changes.
Social Studies
Students will obtain information from visual sources such as photographs of artifacts as we learn about the beautiful Native American clothing of different tribes.
