Parents, families and friends, thank you very much for coming to our Open House.  I enjoyed seeing everyone and the children
were very excited to share their projects.

Field Trip - We will be going to the DuPage Children's Museum on Wednesday May 2nd.  Please remember to send a bag lunch to school with your child.

We will be reading two stories this week, A Curve in the River and Slippery Siblings. A Curve in the River is a realistic fiction story about a boy named Julian.  Julian is disappointed when Gloria finds the message he was trying to send around the world in a bottle.  Julian's father later explains the he needs to place the bottle beyond the curve in the river.  Slippery Siblings is a nonfiction story about a brother and sister.  Blaise Bryant and his sister, Joy are champion bobsled racers, even though Blaise was born blind.
