Reminders
Our field trip to the Du Page Children's Museum is Monday. The children will need to bring a sack lunch which we will eat in the classroom when we return.
All library books are due Friday, May 19th.

Reading/Language Arts
The children were very excited to receive their pen pal letters from the third grade students at Pairieview. They enjoyed sharing their letters with their classmates.
We will be writing back to our pen pals next week.
Our focus: parts of a letter: heading, greeting, body, closing, signature and addressing an envelope
Math
We will continue to review second grade math skills and explore multiplication and division.
Social Studies
Our focus will be map skills. We will be using the compass rose, grid and map key.
