January Reading Rewards
Pajama Day will be Tuesday, January 31st. Children can wear their pajamas to school and bring their favorite bedtime book to read to a friend.
We are collecting gently used or new children's pajamas to donate to the Constance Morris House. Your support will be appreciated.
Reading/Language Arts
We will continue with My Librarian is a Camel, as children begin their research project on unusual libraries around the world. We will focus on various text features to locate key facts and information.
Math
Next week we will be ordering coins by value and finding the total value. Children will be representing money amounts less than a dollar using different combinations of coins.
Science
We will learn how plants grow and change during its life cycle. We'll be looking at the life cycle of a pine tree. There will be a review and test on Chapter 3, Plants.
