Mitten Tree
We will be decorating our Mitten Tree for the Holidays. Donations of mittens, gloves, hats and scarves will be use as decorations. All items will be sent to a local agency for distribution to families in need.
Frostbite
Thursday was the arrival of our Elf on the Shelf. The children voted on the name Frostbite. Unfortunately Frostbite has left for the North Pole. He was sadden by some of the children that were not showing respect for each other. We are working on being kind to each other so Frostbite will return to our room. We are all very hopeful.
Congratulations!
Congratulations to the children that completed their Reading Log for November. The reading reward was "Game Day." The children enjoyed playing games with their friends.
If your child completed the Reading Log there is a certificate for a free pizza from Pizza Hut in their Take Home Folder.

Next week we will be working on opinion writing. We will be adding details, similes and alliteration to make our writing more interesting. We will also be discussing the differences between facts and opinions.
