I have enjoyed meeting everyone at Open House. We have wonderful children from very caring families in our class. Together we will make it a great year for your child.
Getting to Know Our Friends
The children had the opportunity to work together on our word search and fun packet with puzzles. They worked together with a partner, as detectives, to become familiar with our classroom. The All About Me Bag gave the children the opportunity to share important details about themselves with their classmates. We will continue sharing next week.
PBIS - Positive Behavior Interventions & Support
This week the children have learned 3 very important expectations for our school: be respectful, be responsible, and be safe. They have learned that these expectations are applied throughout the school: in the classroom, the halls, the bus, the bathrooms, during lunch, etc.
Next Week
The children will be taking assessments using MAPS in reading and math and a spelling inventory. The data we collect will be used to best meet the needs of each child.
