In this story Luis and his burros travel far to bring books to children in the remote villages of Colombia.  We will also read My Librarian is a Camel, How Books Are Brought to Children Around the World, by Margriet Ruurs.  In this story books move from place to place by bus, boat, elephant, donkey, train and wheelbarrow to deliver books to remote areas, as the mountains of Thailand, the Gobi Desert of Mongolia, and Zimbabwe.

Our focus will be on asking and answering questions to demonstrate understanding of key details in the text.
