Student of the Week

Congratulations: All of students completed their reading logs for the month of December and received a certificate for a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.

MAPS Testing
The students are scheduled for MAPS testing for reading and math on Monday and Thursday afternoon.
Reading
We will be reading fairy tales from different points of view and focusing on the characters, setting, and plot.
Math
Students will read data in a table, bar graph, and pictograph. They will find the range and mode of a set of data and be able to follow directions to locate points on a grid.
Science
We will review for the test on Chapter 3, Plants.
Social Studies
Students will learn how work provides income to purchase goods and services. We will identify some governmental services in the community.
