Math
Students will use arrays to model multiplication, multiply numbers in any order, and use the properties of 1 & 0 for multiplication.
Science
There will be a review and test on Chapter 12, Sound. We will begin Chapter 13, Motion. We will classify moves as pushes or pulls and learn that the amount and direction of the force exerted on an object determine how much and in what direction the object will move.
Social Studies
Students will learn how science and technology have changed communication and transportation. We will also read about the contributions of Helen Keller, Henry Ford and the Wright Brothers.
The PTO is sponsoring our end-of-year school picnic on Friday, May 31st. Everyone is looking forward to having a great time.
