Mallory
A Big Thank You - to the parents that helped with the Halloween party. The children had a great time playing games, eating treats, and taking home a picture frame they colored for a class Halloween photo given to them by Mrs. Murphy.

Reading/Language Arts
We will be reading a story about the first Thanksgiving. Students will write a story about what it would be like to travel on the Mayflower. Their stories will include facts they learned, a simile, an onomatopoeia, and alliteration.
Math
Students will model subtracting 1-digit numbers from 2-digit numbers and 2-digit numbers from 2-digit numbers.
Science
Students will learn how plants' needs depend on their size and type. We will learn how environmental factors influence the growth of living things.
Social Studies
We will compare similarities and differences among families in different communities.
