The story for this week is The School Mural. A group of children celebrate their school's fiftieth anniversary by painting a mural on one wall of the school.

Math
There will be a test on Chapter 23, Three-Digit Addition. We will begin Chapter 24, Three-Digit Subtraction. Children will be using both addition and subtraction to solve multi-step word problems.
Science
We will be classifying moves as pushes or pulls. Students will learn that the amount and direction of the force exerted on an object determine how much and in what direction the object will move.
Social Studies
Students will learn how science and technology have changed communication and transportation.
There will be a test on Unit 6, People and Places in History.
