The story for this week is Henry and Mudge and the Starry Night. Henry, his dog Mudge, and Henry's parents take their annual camping trip to Big Bear Lake.

Math
There will be a test on Chapter 3, Place Value. We will begin Chapter 4, Numbers Concepts and Patterns. Students will compare 2-digit numbers using >,<, and =.

We will learn that the grain group supplies us with carbohydrates, which gives us energy.

Social Studies
We will be starting Unit 2, Our Earth. The vocabulary words for this unit are: geography, landform, ancestor, producer, consumer, natural resource, crop, and conservation.
