Students will explore 3-digit addition with and without regrouping ones and tens. We will also estimate sums for 3-digit addition.

We will begin Chapter 12, Sound. Students will learn that sound is caused by vibrations and understand that some vibrations can be heard.
Social Studies
We will learn that the United States is a land of people who have diverse ethnic origins. People came from Europe and arrived at Ellis Island where they were checked by a doctor.
