Reminder - Grandparents Day is Tuesday, November 21st.
Reading/Language Arts
The children have finished their reading assessment on both fiction and nonfiction text. We will use this assessment to guide our instruction. We have begun rehearsing our friendship skits using the "I Message". Children will present their skits to their classmates.
We will begin our next unit, Neighborhood and Community.
Math
There will be a review and test on 2-digit addition. When we return to school we will begin 2-digit subtraction.
Social Studies
We will be finishing Unit 1, Where We Live. There will be a review and unit test.
Science
We will begin with A World of Living Things. We will learn to identify and describe characteristics that distinguish living and non living things.
